In this vital position, you will act as a trusted advisor on diverse legal matters, enabling Easyfairs to achieve its growth objectives while maintaining operational efficiency and mitigating risks.
Your Mission
As Legal Counsel, you will:
- Drive legal and compliance support: Facilitate Easyfairs’ growth, strategic goals, and expansion by providing proactive legal and compliance solutions.
- Ensure risk management: Oversee legal and compliance risks across Easyfairs’ key geographies, ensuring alignment with local and international regulations.
- Advise on complex matters: Provide expertise in M&A, compliance, tax, HR, intellectual property, GDPR, ESG, real estate, and insurance.
- Stay ahead of regulations: Monitor and adapt to evolving legal standards across jurisdictions to keep Easyfairs compliant and competitive.
- Collaborate strategically: Work closely with internal stakeholders to address legal challenges, support decision-making, and safeguard the company’s interests.

About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive legal expert with:
- Education: A law degree and a deep understanding of corporate law.
- Experience: At least 5 years of professional practice in corporate law, with expertise in M&A and comprehensive knowledge of corporate legal affairs.
- Languages: Fluency in English and French is required; proficiency in Dutch is a significant advantage.
- Skills: Exceptional analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- Attributes: A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
