Group Product Development Catalyst (partly remote)
You will work closely with the Group Head of Business Development to drive the growth of the entire international Easyfairs event portfolio. You will do so by spotting new market trends and market gaps in the communities we serve. You will carry out market research gaining deep understanding of different industries and communities across Europe. You will learn how to translate your market understanding and extensive industry insights in very captivating and creative event development opportunities. Ultimately, you will participate in brand new event launches and/or be the catalyst of bold and creative development opportunities throughout our international event teams.
Tasks & responsibilities:
- Become the internal reference mastering all event concepts by analysing, understanding and documenting business dynamics, key trends and challenges for various markets & industrial sectors
- Combine desk research and external market checks to gain industry insights from industry stakeholders and end-users
- Catalyse business development opportunities from this research towards Group Management Team and regional event teams.
- Oversee the correct implementation/execution of global event concepts by regional event teams
Profile:
- You have a Master degree in Business/Economics or management and min 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent
- You are self-driven, curious and fond of new discoveries
- You have an outgoing/extravert personality, at ease with external stakeholders (interviews with key market players and trade associations)
- You are dynamic and a dedicated team player, taking on the role of cross-border insights catalyst
- You are a critical thinker with strong research and analytical skills, bringing structure and synthesis to complex problem settings
- You combine excellent Excel modelling skills with creative Powerpoint storytelling
- You are fluent in English. (Dutch and/or French is a plus)
- You are prepared to travel
